I would like to see this armour actually be used. I propose that it offer some form of resistance to fire breath. It is crafted from the scales of fire breathers after all!
Currently only the meta defence talisman and quench will offer any protection to fire breath. Allowing this armor to provide some protection (not immunity like the relic) will be a big benefit.
I do not see this at greatly unbalancing either. I tested with my 120 smith and a +10 ASH hammer - even then I only have a 90% chance at crafting and a 55% chance at exceptional (in the crafters area) for a dragonscale tunic.
This change would solve what I see as 2 current issues:
1. Give dragonscale armour a purpose - as the moment there is not real reason to craft/use it.
2. Open up the market (slightly) for newer players to collect/sell scales.
