This was mentioned multiple times by @Shane and @Carl in the lead up to the latest donation change.

Is this going to happen or was it a just trick to get people to spend their dono coins?

I mean yes I appreciate the offer to buy the "not Fallon!! Limited time only!!!" Orc mask a year after it was put on the vendor, but the vendor wipe was a really good idea.

Will it happen?

It will happen next round a bout. We are consolidating all the items that have ever been on the donation store.
Wiping items doesn't mean they will never come back, what we mean is we will start rotating them again like we first did if you remember. Hopefully it works out.

The donation pages are like rings of a tree, noting the specific months of donation changes. But then mysteriously, things like the Vesper hued sandals for 1500 were removed when the Vesper cloak and bear mask came out. It'll be nice when the streamlining comes out and donation items return to a rotation like previously mentioned.
