Does mana vampire work?

Hi, whenever i cast MV on my friend, his mana stays at 100% and mine just goes down (no gain). I'm at 100.0 evalint/mage and he's at 0.0 resist spells. any clues?

just checked, mana drain does not work too.

They work great for resist training.

I think not. I never got any mana back...

they don't even drain mana from the target..
