We talked about this to a degree in general chat, but think we identified some inconsistencies of the weapon types. I am posting the data collected for further discussion.

Attacking characters are 100str/100dex/25int all using newly crafted Bronze Runics. Weapons used are Mace, Kryss, and Katana. Each had max charges of durability powder applied. The Target topped off HP and Stamina after every hit.

This is when your target is a 100HP and 100Stam target wearing zero armor.

This is when your target is a 100HP/25STAM target wearing zero armor.

Then the same test was done using a macing character, which showcases no difference in stamina loss due to mace weapon being used.

So basically what this is showing is that there is no stamina difference compared to using any of the weapons. Historically maces have always been "stamina burning" type weapons comapred to any other dexer class. This also shows that it does little if any Stamina loss to a lower stamina target. 20+ hits were made to a 25STAM target and the stamina was never lowered below 8 stamina, they would NEVER enter a 0 stamina stat unless redlined to 1HP.

You need a Quarterstaff for lower the stamina.

Here are the statistics that matched across the tested weapons when I was asked to test them. I am only including an example of matched value, but they matched every time the same HP damage was hit. So far on tested weapons the stamina drain does not seem to be any different based on the weapon used.

Also Gnarled staff, Blackstaff, Maul, Waraxe, Club, Hammer Pick were all checked and matched damage with the test weapons.

Yes appropriately skilled toons where used for the above testing. All weapons drain the same amount of stamina, based on the values macing does not receive any additional stamina drain on hits.
