'[ command does not exist' error

Does anyone know why I get this message when I try using the [ command? It's been that way for me since I started and no one seems to have had the same issue. I use UOSteam if that helps? Really sucks cant join anything if I miss the initial gump.

are you typing the word for the command after the bracket with no spaces?

What flipt said. Does this also happen when you type [help

Yeah, no spaces. Space after bracket doesn't work either. Help doesn't work just says 'command help doesn't exist' like above. Typing just the bracket by itself also brings the same command help doesn't exist message.

It is a server command. If you type [help is will work.

Yeah nice man so I looked in UOSteam and noticed

Switched it to a different key and all is well. That isn't default I assume or everyone would have this problem so I guess it's something I switched accidentally and didnt notice or whatever. Just posting this so if someone else has the same problem they find a fix.
