If your character name is invalid you'll be User2352468924 or some long string of numbers and have to input a new name in-game.
I think the limit is 15 but I don't really remember offhand. Again, if your name is invalid you'll be promted with the rules. Don't get too attached to any theoretical names because names have to be unique here.
