Bugged art after uop patches?

So I'm trying to get the latest version of UO up and running to be able to see all the graphics around the world and it worked fine after I reinstalled the official version and patched to latest. But obviously I lost treehack and some of the other usual hacks, so I downloaded new patches and managed to get rid of trees etc... But the bugged tiles are back again :/

But you will get the same problem as I have above (I guess) so backup your files before replacing them.

If you try it and can't find any problems let me know

I don't doubt there's a problem with the art files. It took me hours to edit all the art files, and to ensure there was no errors or glitches.

This is a error with your hacks. the latest uo client uses uop not mul anymore.

Yes, I used the gaechti guide on burningsheep... so basically one of his patches has to be broken?
The patches I used for the UOF-supplied client version had the same problem so it can't be the client.

So I guess the question is, anyone know which patch it is that causes the problem?

that's the journal patch that you're seeing.
Its the one single patch I don't use and I don't have that error, so I'm assuming that's your problem. I hope you made a backup.
If so, restore your backup and try installing the hacks again without the journal hack.

How do you actually put the files in to where they show up?

i patched , it works for sallos but it wont work for steam any idea why?

Make sure you unzip the files into the directory that's specified in the UOS launcher. If it says (auto detect) and you have more than one installation/uo folder that might be your problem. Also make sure it overwrites the files in the UO root folder as you unzip them so it doesn't unzip into a sub-folder or something.

And like Carl said you have to use the latest client since the earlier ones used a different file format so the patch I linked in here wouldn't change anything.
