Some plots can only be put down if they are classic, the steps are built like the wings of a tower. When OSI made custom housing, they forgot to program that into custom housing steps, and they are more built like a house tile or solid object.
To remedy this, they put in a "Convert a classic house into a customizable foundation" button. It only effected small houses, really.
I think you should put it in, too so all these people who are forced to use a classic home can at LEAST convert to a 7x7 custom, etc. I don't think the shard is going to be ruined completely if you add this little quirk. Thanks a ton.
