I understand your point but no need to throw oil in the fire The economy is very stable for some items (taming, relics, items removed from dono vendor), unstable for others (gold sink, current dono items (see UMA's thread on the blaze slushy boots! :O), I'd say there is a balance in general. It's all about supply/demand and timing, nobody currently wants PW hence the ridiculous discount of 50%, tomorrow someone may join and be desperate for PW and buy at 99% of the vendor price or even overpay for items (remember sambo and taming ss, 300k+ a scroll?)
