Yes I believe it's that 50% success chance that is driving up the price as a fail is going to be very costly.

Fatality has high bid at 1.95 with 13hr remaining on their bid.

well im only 110 carp im sure once i eat more PS that 50% will go up more .. I think legendary may be usefull for the Britania class gallion that no one even has a recipe for yet .
Also sorry dont mean to derail your auction just had to do the right thing and let people know what they are getting into.. as there has been alot of rampant false server claims the past couple weeks .. Not by you but in general and i think alot of people are thinking all you need is 120 and vola !! the ability to craft boats is added , which is not so .. You need to obtain a boat recipe to give you the ability to do so.

No worries. I always for full disclosure. I'm not aware of the specifics of boat crafting yet and thus have refrained from posting anything regarding it. But in general higher is better (unless we're talking meta pets).

I'm guessing you wouldn't want to try crafting a ship with less than 120. It would suck to gather the ancient anchor and the barnacle ingots and lose half on a fail. (Takes forever to farm these items) it is 100% success at 120, this ps is worth the cost of you intend on building a boat imo. The lowest someone has offered to sell a barnacle ingot is 250k as far as I know and it takes 10 of them.

I can confirm that at 115 carpentry you ony have a 75% chance to craft a gargoyle ship. I believe I bought the last 120 for sale @ 600k and once I got to 120 carpentry it went to 100%

If your goal is a gargoyle galleon the 120 carp is well worth the investment as it is a pain to get the anchor and barnacle ingots.

Not at the price these are selling for right now, no. My guildie who is already a 120 carpenter is the one who is making our galleons. I'm just buying a 120 carp to say I have a legendary carpenter.. So, 1m+ is out of my price range.

No problem just wanted to make sure you saw it. (You could afford it if you really wanted, didn't have to buy a 9m Taming scroll ;))
