That era has never existed, ever.
Any player that would be impressed by a bunch of single potions strewn about a corpse, will never actually see that because it's their first day of UO and they will learn within a week that 100 pots is equivalent to 2k gold, thus not actually being impressed...
This server has a thriving PvE scene, but the PvP is abhorrent. However, I've seen the dedication and talent the staff have here and I'm confident with some healthy discussion and suggestion, it can be made great. These suggestions are what I would consider a jump in the proper direction.

Thanks for making it look nice, Kurtis. All of my houses are long gone on uoforever, so I did the test with what was left in a characters backpack. Also, doing 100+ per spell is fairly time consuming. I didn't test uoforever explosions, but I'm 100% sure it has the same damage formula as energy bolts.
Pit PvP(fake pvp) should not take precedent over field PvP. That being said, you have to be really bad to die to someone "holding down" a magic arrow macro. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel here, this is a proven system that has been working for years. I've said it before, and I'll say it...
It has been brought up before and most PvPers can agree that damage is lower than it should be. @Adam asked for some numbers from uoforever compared to UOF, so here they are. Numbers with a * next to them were resisted. I forgot to record the resists for magic arrow though.

Exp/eb tend to average 25 on UOF, whereas on uoforever, they tend to average 30. There also seems to be a higher % chance to resist spells on UOF, than on uoforever. Because of this difference, killing someone at 120 strength is incredibly rare with two players. You almost never hit 30s on your...
