It makes sense that attacking a galleon on a small is a bad idea. The point that I'm trying to make is that on a galleon, you have a really hard time interacting with people (that are on faster boats). Thus making galleons unwanted for pirates and RPers.

From a pirate's standpoint: why would you use a galleon if the small boats can outrun them? In the previous system, you could also evade cannon shots from a galleon by skillfully maneuvering your way around them. Galleons are much bigger and harder to turn than smaller boats.
