There's this pirate DB, Davida Valtieri. He keeps attacking my fisherman. I don't like that, but at least it's within the rules.... if he were attacking with a single client. But he's using three.

His MO is always the same. He comes in with a boat an alt, stops, then brings in another boat, until mine is blocked. Then he comes in on the galleon to fire or whatever. (I'm just recalling my fishers out.) None of these boats/chars are moving at the same time, which makes me believe it is one person multiclienting. I know multiclient PVP is highly illegal. So I'm assuming muli-client naval warfare is as well? Seems like it ought to be.

If so pls ban this cheaing DB ASAP. Tnks. :D

If he does it again I'll snap a SS.

No he's not a "good pirate," he's a cheater. Multiclient PVP is expressly against the rules. "Good" means someone who operates successfully within the rules. Cheaters are game ruining scum who deserve to have their accounts and IP banned. Because if the rules are not enforced, cheating just becomes a standard practice which is rewarded.

Agree 100% , Just Ask @Bobby123 .... Perhaps he has taken up fishing since they laid down the law in RDA's

So you're saying you're upset?

Are u illiterate? Why don't you use your "eyes" to "look" at the "words" and then put them together to figure out what they "mean."

No, you just praise and make excuses for cheaters.

It was a joke. I understand cheating really needs to be dealt with. But go ahead and keep insulting me. Doesn't make you look stupid or anything.

I don't think this always used to be a bannable offense. I could be wrong. I think I know who you are referring to, and if it is that same person, he's done this for a long time and I think staff fully knew about it. Maybe the rule has changed or hasn't and could be changed, not sure. But as others have stated, definitely get a screenshot so you can present it to staff and let them judge for themselves.

(Video might be better in this instance, though, honestly.)

Well, I think the staff should decide definitively if this is legal or not. Multiclient PVP is illegal, as it should be. Leaving a gray area open doesn't help matters any. Either multiclient PVP is legal or illegal. Period.

Oh I hear you. It definitely should be addressed and decided upon. Like I said, be sure to capture it next time it happens and video is always better, especially when multiclient anything is involved.

Oh I think a screenshot of a player and his alt is enough evidence for this sort of thing. Maybe now that the thread's been posted tho he'll change his cheating ways. Hopefully.

The problem with turning a blind eye to cheating is that it only serves to punish all those that follow the rules in good faith. It's essentially a betrayal of them to NOT enforce the mulitclient PVP rules.
