Weapon Damage Modifiers
  • Exceptional gives +4 (can stack on top of below modifiers)
  • Ruin gives +1
  • Might gives +3
  • Force gives +5
  • Power gives +7
  • Vanquishing gives +9
Weapon Accuracy Modifiers
  • Accurate gives +5 to Tactics skill
  • Surpassingly Accurate gives +10 to Tactics skill
  • Eminently Accurately gives +15 to Tactics skill
  • Exceedingly Accurate gives +20 to Tactics skill
  • Supremely Accurate gives +25 to Tactics skill
Note: Tactics is gained for melee weapons. Archery weapons gain additional Archery skill... ie.. Supremely Accurrate bow gives +25 Archery Skill. Although it is an 'Accuracy" modifier, it really only improves accuracy on Archery weapons. When Tactics is increased for melee weapons, it actually increases damage.

Weapon Durability Modifiers
  • Durable
  • Substantial
  • Massive
  • Fortified
  • Indestructible
Weapon Metal Colors
  • Iron
  • Dull Copper
  • Shadow
  • Copper
  • Bronze
  • Gold
  • Apapite
  • Verite
  • Valorite
Metal types/colors for player made weapons only affects the durability of the weapon. It does not increase damage or accuracy. The only exception to this is weapons made with a Runic Hammer, which adds durability, damage, and accuracy modifiers based upon the color of the Runic Hammer.

Go to web.archive.org, put in UO.stratics.com and then select a date in early 2001. You can navigate the site from there to find whatever era specific info you want including armor and weapon info.

You can also find weapon info at the new wiki: uofwiki.com

sorry to necro, but how is the tactics damage bonus calculated here? trying to figure out how the tactics modifier compares to the straight damage modifier. is a vanq without accuracy bonus similar to a supremely accurate might? trying to understand how to weigh the modifiers. tia

Only the dev staff can comment on exact damage calculations - and for the most part they do not give this info out. I can say that they strive to be mostly era accurate, so you can use old uo.stratics.com pages to get an idea of how the mechanics work.

Thanks. It looks like tactics corresponds to a % increase to base damage if over 100, so 125 tactics = 125% damage over base. Doing the math, it seems like supremely accurate vs no accuracy bonus has the same result on damage as one damage modifier tier. so a power supremely accurate will do about the same damage as a vanq

Hello,

Thanks for this guide I reference it a lot. I do have a question if someone can fill in some extra info for me.

I also get armor with these modifications sometimes.

  • Defense
  • Guarding
  • Hardening
  • Fortification
  • Invulnerability
Information on these modifiers is not provided above or in any other guide I can find for reference. I am looking for numbers on each.

Okay so my question and I always forgot this. As an archer do you NEED tactics? Because... yeah, when I see that the accuracy on bows increases archery I suddenly started second guessing myself.... I know probably a stupid question.

Thanks.
