Wrestling question.

Trying to train wrestling whacking away at one of my alts, but the skill isn't going up. I've done all the dummy checks. Skill pointed up, all others going down, well fed, etc etc.. Can't figure out what's stopping it. Any suggestions?

What is that alt's melee skill level?

He's GM archery. I tried on a cow and it seems to gain fine doing that. But not on the other char.

was your alt holding a bow?

Negative. Just the bare knucks.

The character that you are beating on will need to hold a bow (just attack him and tab out so he will not shoot arrows), that way you are actually wrestling against someone with an active melee skill.
