Is there any benefit to having a Valorite Dragon Barding Deed instead of Iron or Shadow. I've been trying to find info if it takes on more damage or lasts longer but can't find anything. Any Idea?

It may take over 110 taming to tame a Swamp Dragon but anyone can control and ride it once tamed. They can be armoured with a dragon barding deed. This armor reduces all damage dealt to the rider by 18% for any metal. Exceptionally crafted armor gives another 2% for a total max of 20%.

We recently made a change where all types of ingots do the same thing. Of course exceptional vs non-exceptional will make a difference however.

Yupper all deeds are base 18% dmg reduction for normal regardless of hue and an extra 2% for exceptional for a max of 20.

I have a valorite barding deed already on my swampy, is there a way to make it shadow without having to apply a new deed?

How do you think I feel. I bought a boat load of Valorite and made one thinking it gave better protection and could have saved gold and went with something less expensive...I asked too late
