Valorite Runic Weapon

Hopefully the community valorite hammer effort will soon make me the proud owner of valorite runic weapon of my choice. Since I don't do a lot of duels or events where it would be useful, I'm likely going to make it available to a guildie for something below market. But to do that I have to know what market is. There was some recent discussion that made it sound like valorite runic weps were around a mil, but when I look over old forum posts, it seems like charges and katanas have sold easily at 1.8 - 2 mil and it's only the already crafted less popular weapons that drop down to the 1 mil range.

Any input would be appreciated.

1-1.5 tops. there is only 2 chances to use these weapons safely:

CTF/kill of hill- which is broken and people can exploit and kill you on docks and you can lose your "expensive" weapon.

Tournament- only IF the rules say you can use Runic weapons, i have seen very few of these tournys.

i sold each of my valorite hammer charges for 1-1.5, with the last being sold for 2 mil since it came with the hammer.


also dont look at Hunters valorite hammer on the forums, there was some fake bidding going on to get his hammer up, he is also a person that over payed on each small bod to jack his end price up on each hammer charge.

i spent a total of 500k on each small bod. the currently asking price of over 1 mil per sbod is only inflating a charge for a weapon that is no where near what it truly is worth.

Of my hammer I sold 7 swings in alliance at a discount, 1m per. Kept one. Sold last two swings as the partial hammer for 4.5. Mine also came at a time when I had the corner on the market.

If you sell publicly it just depends on the buyer and your relationship to them, how many other swings are going to be sold, etc

still very fair prices for this. i agree with bromista. dont get low balled but also dont be thinking its top dollar for these weapons anymore :/

This is all great info and advice. Even at 1-1.5mill per weap, that's 10-15mill per valorite runic hammer. For me, it's just a fun part of the game to look for and trade for the small bods and fill the large. Looking to fill out my second val hammer lbod. 5 more to go
