Trick to placing large statues on roof?

I recently looted one of the large wyvern statues from Destard.. Having troubles placing it anywhere in my custom 3-story.. Always wants to stick through the floor tiles. Seems to be an extremely awkward statue.

Is there a trick to this -- I've tried putting him on stone tables, wood tables.. anything to get him off the floor.. Nothing seems to be working.

Interior decorator. Can be bought by the architect npc, it lets you raise items up. Works perfectly

That is exactly what I needed -- thanks!! I wasted about 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back.. Took two minutes to set it up perfectly with that tool.

I miss the days of stacking aids or robes on ground. Setting item on top and letting rest decay to get height.

Or building rooms out of quarter or gnarled staves
