Taming problems

Every time i tame a deadly mob(paralyze). It gets themed then i hit tab(so the attack ends) and it starts hitting me!! What am i doing wrong. Please help me

Say "all stop" a few times even after para has faded. Then "all stay". Make sure you're tabbed out of combat. Then ya should be solid.
