Stealth, Hiding, and Stealing question for a experienced thief

When stealing pvm it seems I can hide, stealth up to the monster, steal from it, but I always pop out of stealth. Is that normal or is there a way to stay hidden when stealing?

Its an action. Any action unhides which stops stealth.

bummer, is it the same for pvp theft as well?

yes, do this load up steal cursor wait 10 seconds steal and hide instantly after

also ..not all actions reveal..

u can detect hidden and track other players while hidden , but it seems you may have a different build than me and not even have those skills.
