I know we've gone back and forth on this a bit but 200 chars isn't enough to explain!
I'd been hitting the safe spot in Del passage on my Red a lot over the last two days - seems to be about four or five toons there afk macroing.
My thief was doing a good trade there before I figured my red would be faster. Every now and again one of the players would be at the keyboard and put up a fight - about a dozen hours ago I was out numbered and statted (fair play - I was griefing).
Once I got my stats back I kept hitting them - but on my last run was killed. I went AFK (dinner time!) and came back to an offer on my head. I made a counter offer which was accepted.
What I didn't know at the time - but could see as I log my journal - was that they had already statted me. It seems that if you make an offer on a head, if the player doesn't reply you can cancel and stat, but the offer box still remains in play.
Admin - I've been told a couple of times that this must just be another of my heads out there. This just isn't the case - I carefully track how often I die and get statted, and there are no unused heads out there of mine.
Absolutely don't mind getting statted - particularly because I was griefing the same group for so long - but frustrating to pay for my head and still lose stats.
