Should I drop peace for provo?

Hey everyone,

Long story short I've been reading up on bard templates for this shard and I've noticed that none of them include peacemaking. I ran a bard on OSI and remember peacemaking being quite useful. Am I missing a fundamental flaw with peacemaking or is provocation just really that good?

Template I'm shooting for. This is a pure PvE character.

100 - Archery
100 - Tactics
100 - Anatomy
100 - Healing
100 - Magery
100 - Music
100 - Peace/Provo

90 - Str
95 - Dex
40 - Int

You will have vastly more success with provocation. Strong monsters fighting each other will DPS each other far faster than you can. Your damage will become simply supplemental and serve to keep the two monsters even until one dies, then one or two shot finish the second one.

Thank you for the response.

I typically farm mobs that spawn only 1 at a time due to the fact that I just drop like a fly to magic casting mobs.

Peacemaking -> kill while calmed. Pretty much my rinse and repeat farming technique.

I guess it's time to leave my comfort zone.

peacemaking is very useful for T hunting, provo more useful for dungeons.

If musicianship power scrolls return, peacemaking would get a boost and be a viable option. Until then, provo is the better option.
