I was wondering if there are still any plots out there to place a house? If not, what would be the best way to buy a house? I was checking out the housing section of the forums but it seems like the latest threads there are from 1+ years ago

What you want to do is actually head over to our discord at https://discord.uoforever.com

Once you verify your account you will see all the buy/sell channels as mostly all of that has now moved to discord. There are many houses off all shapes and sizes for sale at all times pretty much. This is also a great place to get help, find friends and get updates.
