Nope. Resistances didn't exist until AOS I believe. In the era this shard is loosely based off of there are no resistances, just AR.

It's not garbage, but I too prefer not to have it. All it really does is reduce the need for resisting spells and places more emphasis on the armor you wear.

I'm familiar with it, and hated it when OSI implemented it. Makes the game way too item dependent. Introduce this and next you'll have people begging for insurance to be added.
