Remove Trap Training

I am passed the required 50/50 Detect and Lockpicking, but I cannot find anywhere to train Remove Trap. I tried just using it on the chest in brit jewelers but it fails with no gains. Is there another way I can get this skill rolling, and does anyone know officially if Detect is only needed to gain or what the deal is with detect ? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried trapped boxes from tinkers?

I got it to around 50 from the Buc's Den Thief Guild Master, then I trained in the Brit Jeweler's Shop on the locked box to about 88.

From 88-GM I trained with a GM tinker trapping a box. I probably should have started with the GM tinker around 80.

I don't believe Detect Hidden is required once you start training, but I've still got mine at 50...need to lower it now.

For some reason the guild master won't respond to me. I even waited for a new one to spawn.

So you clicked train remove trap and dropped the gold on him?

Damn he didn't have the option for remove trap. Know any other locations?

It's definitely on the thief guild master in buc's den, it won't show up unless you have 50 (real skill) in detect hidden and lockpicking, I believe
