Razor Load Hang Times

For whatever reason, about 3 weeks ago razor started load hanging for about 20 seconds after clicking play from the launcher. It used to load in like 0.5 seconds straight to the login screen. Any idea how to fix this? The dialogue it seems to get stuck at is "searching for updates" but I doubt it actually functions that way anymore?

Happens to me the first time I load razor ever day

Yeah it seems to be the first time, even if i put my computer to sleep and wake it back up. Every other instance after that loads instantly but minimized. It never used to do that though =\
