On one my characters I have 95 stealth, and as long as I am walking, he will continuously stealth. On another character I have 83 stealth and he will only take three steps before appearing, with no auto stealth. From what I hear you should be able to stealth non stop at 80 skill. Is there something wrong with my character? Or do I just have to macro it up to the high 90's?

Nope. I took everything off but my apron and it still made me appear after three steps. I am at 87 skill now and it is still doing it. Did they patch it?

Thief GM in Buc's Den once you have the prerequisite Hiding to use Stealth.
What's your Hiding on that character? Are you sure you aren't accidentally running at all?

That's the current skills. It's almost like the char is bugged or something.. Unless I am missing something.

Where are you doing it? There are some places that will auto-reveal you. I used it on my 95 Hiding 84 Stealth thief and he's stealthing just fine.

Geez.. for some reason always run was on. I have ever turned that on before and have never had the problem. Thanks for the help. I was single clicking to move one step.. two step... three step... so I never noticed I was running. When I put the mouse on my char and held down the button I started running. HERP!
