Question on High End BoDs

For both BS and Tailoring

Do you get a better chance% to get them by selling bulk items made of high end materials, or do you have to be lucky no matter what you sell?

Doesn't matter what you sell. It's all luck, though higher the skill, the better the chance.

kk, ya i got the same quality bods at gm BS that i did pre gm, and was wondering. glad i asked before i started making shadow+ daggers to sell lol

Yeah, mostly you'll be getting crappy iron weapon bods. But you can also get on nice streaks. I do see an improvement for 80.1 and 100 blacksmith though. 80.1 gave alot of normal crap. but at gm, got more colored and almost all exceptional.

I can't advocate going to 120/120 enough. Noticeable increase in exceptional deeds and LBODs and you get pulls every 5hrs instead of 6.

Color of pulls is random regardless of skill.

well i haven't made any money of BS yet, but i plan on making this toon 120 in both eventually.
would it be better to do my BoDs at orc cave to gain skill faster? or would it be better at the crafting area for a chance on exceptional slayers i can sell? (bs wise)

I'd make short spears at the crafting area. You'll make a bunch of slayers and make nice money if you can find buyers. Once you get to plate gorget, go to the orc cave. I found the increase in skill gains to be very noticeable and gained 1.0 every 500 ingots. Just my suggestion.

ya i got to gm already (saving up for PS) just didn't know if its worth it to sell slayers while working towards 120 or just power lvl then go crafting slayers when i cap
