So I started this conversation on IRC and immediately got bashed and called an idiot etc. So please, if I am wrong about something, please just say in a respectful manner instead of being a douche bag.
In my opinion, things need to be even accross the board. It's not fair that tamers can have 120 taming and lore ps for a higher chance at control for their pets, but mages cant cast 8th level spells even 50% of the time at GM magery. The traditional counter template to pvp tamers is the discord archer. However, this skill has been nerfed to the dirt. It doesnt work for pvm, and for pvp if you discord a pet it gives them the ability to count you instead of just turning you criminal. This doesnt happen when you attack a pet using any other skill including provoke. I know the tamers are going to get defensive as they always do (rightfully so considering the time and $$ it takes) but it still doesnt make it fair. Any thoughts or suggestions?
