Price for Dexxer Studded Leather Suits with helm

I heard after the dex loss from the metal suits that studded armor with helm is the preferred armor to wear as a dexxer. Thought about putting sets on my vendor but not sure on price. I was thinking 2.6k for the studded suit plus iron helm. Anyone have any idea what would be a good price?

yeah im not sure, i may just calculate the amount of barbed leather * 20 (cost per yard), and then mark it up maybe 15-20% due to the success rate for exceptional pieces not being 100% chance

That really doesn't seems worth it. Wouldn't you be better off hustling horned leather suits for a premium price?

Doesn't seem worth it? My biggest money maker used to be armor, leather, metal, all of them. Barbed suits at 1.5k and archer suits at 1.5k iron and 2.5k shadow. Then resources became hard to buy and i stopped and just started selling weapons.

No no, you misunderstood. We're talking bout the studded armor. I still sell that stuff and it's been good money. I'm talking about the studded where exceptional isn't guaranteed and people may not pay the 2k+ for it.

I had to resort to mining until @BeerJedi mines me up some sexy Ingots ^_^

No I understand what you are saying.

I usually add 20% for my time and effort and another 15% for material mishaps -- all on top of the base cost of the materials.

Being Legendary tailor/smith will minimize the non-exceptional items.

I always found it utterly ******** that you can have 120 in a skill and still fail to craft something exceptionally.

Ahhh ok. And yeah, it does suck. Shouldn't being legendary mean you can make something as simple as studded leather exceptionally well every time? :p

You'd think as much...

I wonder how many swings (needle passes?) it will take to make a full set of barbed runic bone armor. I am at 120 skill but I fear it will take at least two barbed sewing kits. --- And then I have -13dex armor *sigh*

My thing is those resources and time can be better spent. What's going to have more value? A studded suit or a cbd bod? And sure, the argument is going to be "how many cbd bods do you get in a day" and I understand that. But there's other lbods of value and not to mention farming drags and drakes has a value all its own.

The resource issue is a tough one. I can't multi-task like i used to through a boring process.
I was able to constantly chat at the key board, mine and kinda watch a movie. Now, when i watch a movie, i don't mine. Or when i'm yappin' with the gaggle, i'm not mining mainly cause i have had to reset hotkeys and mining macros to adjust to the appropriate rules. my mining has been reduced about 60% from before.

Now, do i disagree with the rules? no. I think they're spot on in the new enforcement.
