Opening a Store

So I'm looking to start working on Weland Outfitters but my I'm concerned about my stand stone's location. I'm located in Snakes Pass just North of Brit. My initial target audience is going to be the young players and new players.

I plan on selling GM Exceptional Armor and weapons for fairly low prices along with recall, mark scrolls, etc.

If a house isn't sitting right outside a gate or on the edge of town is it really viable to use it for vendors and how would market it?

I was thinking of having a character on my third account sending a Message every so often with the grid coords and general direction and have him near the smith shop.

Most people spam gates during busy hours and offer runes for stores that might not get a lot of foot traffic.

Yea was thinking about the gate thing. I do have a mage I was working on my alt account that was going to be for pvp but I'd rather focus on crafting so I could set them up and open a gate every so often.

You keep them in the bank and set the macro to take out one set at a time before casting.

True I'm looking at some properties near the Brit GY which is where I see a lot of young players going to fight skeletons so I'm hoping to get started there. We will see.
