No more factions?

I remember the hype and build up of factions in late 1999 and spring 2000. I forget when they actually implemented....but, they had always kind of disappointed.

They are reworking the system and implementing town militias (same as factions).

bh - i wish there were 4 proper faction hq that can be defended well so that raids also with unequal numbers take a while. that wa always good fun.
u could recall out and attack the raiders guerilly tyle, gave some good townfights. aaah stop thinking in the past!
