New idea for crafting

Here is an idea for us crafters. So the soul forge don't get used much and weapons and armour used to have names (Excalibur etc). So maybe if you are a legendary blacksmith, you could use a runic weapon on the soul forge with x amounts of other ingredients to make a weapon that you could give a name of the crafters choosing to. Could do the same with armor.

Maybe I could make a Val kryss that is called "the pig sticker" surpass acc indestructible vanq kryss made by mr.smurf.

I don't think it needs any other special properties just be a fun project to make an elite sword with a name. Maybe they could have special properties for pvm, but leave that to you folks to discuss.

I know its not a blacksmith weapon and I know you cant take the skill to 120 "yet" but I would want to make a bow and name it

WARBOW the bow you take to war on your enemies.

Maybe add this to the crystal workbench or something like that.

I think it would b only fair for Fletcher's to get the same privilege. Maybe time for fletching power scrolls?

Well you could not allow the major swear words and only allow letters in the naming. People will still name it newb facker but that's not really and worse then the stuff I read on the forums a

It would probably take someone less than 30 minutes to think of all the ways you could coherently misspell the ~15 words that would be in 90% of "dumb shit" names.

I just did the list for fuck in about two minutes. If admin goes ahead with this idea, I wouldn't mind writing out the others if nobody else wants to bother with it.

Yep I agree. I mean have you seen some of the guild titles? I don't think no one is going to b offended. They won't even know they were killed by the "noob slayer" anyway most likely. But they would b fun to use and give crafters a new challenge that they can personalize. They would be great for decorating with too.

to change the way we are thinking..... what if a weapon got named by the dev. team (program) after it killed so may players. The weapon would change names after 100, 500, 1000 players killed.
If held by a player with negative karma it would get a curse type name.
If held by a player with positive karma it would be a positive name.

This way no one would have a say into the naming but the dev. team.

In another thread @Shane remarked that he'd like to see fewer titles above people's heads. Attaching titles to the relevant items on the paper doll would be one way to take care of that. At the very least it would get rid of the titles under your paperdoll, which presently don't fit in the space.
