Moving Box

How do you use your moving box. So I want to destroy my home and rebuild it the moving crate/box would be the safest place to keep my stuff correct while I rebuild. How does this work?

Sorry for the nub question but I've never done this before so I appreciate the info.

Typically only if you had items already locked down in the house and then re-designed the house so that now a wall was over top of where those items were would those items automatically go to the moving crate because they are in the middle of a wall now. I don't think you can purposely send all items in the house to the moving crate though.... it would be quite the mess anyways because it would be randomly boxed up.

I know it's a pain in the ass but I think you need to manually do this.

The only other suggestion would be to redesign your house and cover every level in walls on every tile so that when you commit everything is bounced automatically to the moving crate? Then just redesign your house for the new design and once complete, unpack the moving crate.

Whenever during the customization of your home you make changes that affect where an item is, that item(or container) is moved into the moving crate. Items that are not affected by the customization do not get moved at all.

The moving crate can be accessed anywhere in your home via double clicking the house sign and selecting the moving crate option.
