Mining Elementals

Mining in the game is very bad. elemental drop is very complicated, I have to keep 2 characters, 1 to mine and another to kill.
could stop the elemental drop, more people would mine. I know you're going to tell me to create a character with mining and combat, but that's a mistake, because a miner shouldn't be a warrior. Could you review this situation? just stopping the elementals drop would be great. it doesn't even make sense to drop elementals in the mine. If it's a dungeon then I agree to drop elementals, but not mines around the world.

What I do is watch over my buddy as he mines with a Gargoyle Pickaxe and I kill them as they pop up. Then he does the same for me. I would like to see more elementals pop up from a pickaxe. at least double the chance from where it is now.
