Meta Fail

So with the huge new stuff for tamers which really did they need this ..
anyhow to my real rant..
So the devs are all up in arms about catering to newbie players to make the game feel more inviting.. yet they introduce a senseless new meta dragon system. which has all these people training there meta where newbies would normally go to train .. leaving newbs with no place to train because all the spawns are cleared by experienced veteran already stupid rich players clearing out these areas training there meta pets ..

I call fail on lack on insight.

it doesnt take a long time and you have your area´s back. Its only now a little problem because some meta dragons were given out after the tournament event.

The META pet is far from senseless, and as important as getting new players here of course, which i don't think anyone can argue that we aren't good at that- We also need to keep the experienced players who have been here since day 1. Why should our original, loyal supporters suffer? Why can't we do both, inviting new players here while keeping old players.

There is a large, large world out there with many secret hunting area's, forest spawns and more. Your forum account is coming up 5 months so i'm sure you are already well off in some aspect in game. One day you may be that guy who has done it all, and is wanting us desperately to keep in fluxing new content to keep you interested.

Join or create a guild, have your guild control an area.

To call it a "fail" is far from the actual fact. We have had a ton of veteran players return for this sole feature.

As someone who has leveled a few characters through newbie areas this past week, i have only seen two and they were off in a corner where no one would go anyway.

I don't think this is even slightly a problem

I came back exactly for this reason. I love taming and the meta pet was exactly what I wanted lol and my account is 595 days old now!!!

no no i was not calling them stupid .. I ment they are Stupid "Crazy", "Extremely" rich.

Anyhow I don't think my point was understood, not sure how to clarify it .. nor do I have a chance or hope in hell to win my argument no matter how right I am, any way. So ill just not bother .. but all i can say is its the popular easily accessible newbie areas that are being taken by the vets.. if there are so many areas why don't the vets go where newbie's typically don't discover until later .. ahhh nvm.

I'm stupid and I'm stupid rich so there's a little bit of truth to the matter either way as far as I am concerned.

I won't be afk cheesing my meta pet though. I trained a couple dragons up to 5X that way but things were different before stat-loss upped its game.

Getting a stone and finding the best bang for my buck is my plan considering I'm a "Pro" Provo tamer. Evolving my pet should be a breeze if I can ever find the time to do it.
