Lock Picking. I have 99.9

I had 99.1 lock pick and used a lock pick ss. I now only have 99.9 Any one know why that happens?

Also I have a check that still won't let me open it at 99.9 lock picking. Do I really need 100 GM lock pick to open certain chests?

Are you checking show real skill? Any mob that drops a level 5 tmap requires GM lockpicking to open their paragon chest..titans, balrons etc

I thought if I had 99.1 lock pick and use the ss it would have jumped it to 100

Your 99.1 would have been shown skill and your real prior to using the scroll would have been 89.9 hence the 99.9 result. Skill scrolls add to your real skill so be careful when using. Luckily with lp you can just hit a d few t maps or dungeon chests and you'll be good.

yup, if your real skill was at 99.1, you wouldn't have been able to use the skillscroll

This has happened to me in a way. I moved a bunch of skills around, used some powerscrolls and skill scrolls, and my final total skill points was 720.9 -- higher than the max is ever supposed to be. After a few days or a week suddenly it was back to 720, and the skill I had set to lower was down the extra .9

I would just wait it out

Ya good call on that. What chests do I need to lock pick to get gains at 99? Any dungeon chests will work for gains at 99?

For as long as it took me to go from 99 to 100, I would recommend using a skill scroll.

Seriously, it took me forever.

Shoot , well than just go to the dungeons in Depise,Shame,Cove,Destard, most of those are higher lvl chests than I've used to gm.
