I was banned from IRC (err)

I opened a private conversation with Carl on IRC to report a (I think) bug from zombieland on test. I am a total noob on IRC, and clicked on some of the buttons on the top of Hexchat while waiting for a response... must have clicked something really awfully bad, because I got two lines of " never do a blabla with a staff member on IRC" followed by "you have been banned".

Any way to unban me? I know that lack of knowledge doesn't save you from the firing squad, but, puliiize?

You were banned for constantly trying to do a dcc to staff which we ban for. We will not direct connect to your computer especially through irc.
