Hi all,

My name is Lyan and I'm new to UO forever and actually UO as a whole. I'm 22 and heard my dad always talk about this game and thought I should try it out. I'm still learning how to play and such and really enjoy the game so far.

Welcome Lyan, always great to see new people get into the game - UO can be a frustrating game when starting out especially because the walk throughs and help aren't always the best.. Let the wiki at the top of this page guide you, and if you need any help, join up on discord - the UOF community is great there. Best advice I can give you as a new to UO player -- expect to die and lose things. Some of my most favorite moments in UO is when I ran from PKs, with my heart pounding from the adrenaline, and then escape with my loot and supplies. It is all about risk vs reward and that is the gamble that keeps people playing this game.
