I'm honestly not gonna be surprised when someone comes up with one tamed.
When Ankh and Exodus were introduced we got ethy mares, but also regularly spawning non-tamable versions.
Maybe there's a fire steed on like a year-long timer that spawns in a different area of Exodus?' I'dbe a liar if I said I didn't check every one before killing.
Side note: I once saw a fire steed in the wild in an obscure overland area. It was quite the troll because the steed was the first and only critter I saw, turning out to be un-tamable as part of an Exodus mini-invasion.
