I was having an issue with placing a dono deco item I purchased last night. I had one GM show up and try to help me but couldn't. Carl sorted me out himself just a few mins ago. Thanks for the timely help and response via forums.

Fireplace with bear rug needs to be 3 spaces from a wall, not inside a house and only on a roof so far.
And you can't sit in the chair.

this is the exact reason i wont buy one, i really wanted to but if u cant sit on it, then imo it is worthless. you can on the one in game at the hidden valley lich, so i know they can fix the bug with this one easily i would assume

I had the same issue, Carl came to my house and placed it for me. The chair and the stool are now working properly.
Where you able to place it inside your house or did you have to put it on the roof?

Carl placed it in my house and moved it to where I wanted it. I personally could only put it on the roof. And when I did that I couldn't access the throne or stool. Once he placed it, and moved accordingly all was good.
