GM Arms Lore - Does It Help?

Question is pretty much in the Title. I know back in the day GM Arms Lore gave a bonus of some sort to smiths, but have come to realize this isn't true Ren Era, and has it's own way of doing things, which is fine, just wanna know if I'd be wasting 100 points on a Smith by putting GM Arms Lore on him. Also if there is any other changes/or things to know or even a link with explanations on changes that'd be awesome. Thanx in advance

Nope, it's only for disarm thieves here. It might do something with the new legendary hammers with the expansion, but as of now, you don't even need Arms Lore to check durability (you can check durability at 0 Arms Lore).
