Doesn't make sense really, we've had some dos attacks in the last few days for sure, we get them pretty often honestly. But we've had smaller once in the last few days that may have caused some lag.

Otherwise, no, jumping around and general "choppy" play style more seems like a local issue. CPU issue, something taking up too many resources etc.

thanks, @Shane.

I pretty much thought that to be the case but wanted to ask the obvious question first.

Thanks for taking the time to reply....

The first link I would check out is this: http://greeduo.wix.com/uomacro#!how-to-clear-your-memory-cache/cy66

If that doesn't work, try some of the suggestions here: http://uorforum.com/threads/troubleshooting-razor-client-problems.3960/

Do you do any gaming outside of UO? I assume you would've noticed issues in other online multiplayer games too, if this was a network connectivity problem.

As Shane said it could be an issue with your hardware..but I would personally be surprised if that was the case, because this is an old game that doesn't take a ton of resources to run.

So..if the above links don't do the trick, please report back with more information about your network connection. Best thing to do is run a speed test. In my opinion the BEST speed test website out there is http://speedof.me , so if you do report back please use that site as I've had incredibly mixed results with speedtest.net/comcast speed test/ etc. Also it would be good to know the brand/model of the modem + router, as well as if you're using a wireless or wired connection.

Also..if you haven't already..you may just want to uninstall then reinstall completely.

Thanks for taking the time to post that, @Gabriel Garcia .

It was what was suspected.....Its an older PC and the memory isn't all that large, so, I reset the ol pig and just ran UO and it worked flawlessly, as usual. Im guessing the 'choppy' play was a result of no memory. Not sure what I was running in the background, but, a reset, nonetheless, cleared any issues. I don't surf much with this PC.....just an old gamer. (Still use DOS emulators for old D&D games......Pool of Radience, anyone? Wizardry, anyone? lol)

Thanks, again, for the replies. and Help.

latency 15milliseconds. Id assume that's pretty good.
19Mps down
6Mps up.
Eh.......lol

Glad to hear your issue is resolved. As you may already know, RAM is very easy to install. I'd say in car terms it's like changing a tire..anyone can do it with little to no experience, once they're given simple instructions. It also tends to be very cheap. If you need any help please feel free to message me. If you can't already tell I love computers :)

And yes, based on what you said, you have a good connection. 19 down and 6 up is more than enough to run UO. On that connection you could even play multiplayer first person shooter games reliably. If your latency is truly 15 ms then that's great..that's very low.
