Fishing Guide - Anyone?

Hello everyone,

I was reviewing the forums heavily over the last couple days trying to see if anyone had posted a fishing guide or a method they used to GM fishing. I wasn't able to find one that provided some instruction so I thought I would post here and see if anyone had some suggestions.

Any experienced fisherman out there that would be so kind as to pass along some tips on GM fishing? Or am I wasting my time because you can essentially GM fishing by fishing off a dock for multiple hours? Do you require a boat to skill gain? etc.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I 120'd in the Trinsic canals. Don't need deep water. I didn't use any kind of macros that moved from place to place, but if you wanted to make a bunch of runes around random towns with water (or just places in those towns) and fish until you a get a message, you could. I just ran it over night; no need to waste regs. It isn't optimal but it gets the job done.

I GM'd in britain. But a guide that would focus on what to do with fishing and other skills after GMing would be a good idea. I never did any SOS/MIBs before and don't really expect any surprises over t-mapping but you never know
