The current system in place as you know for auto buy in head is 25k gold cap with the option for players to decline that inside dungeons and choose to stat someone.

I think it is crystal clear why some blues choose to stat over receiving 25k gold. The solution? Gradually increase the auto buy in limit in dungeons or for both outside and inside if the first is too hard to implement. It all comes down to the gold. Losing gold can be more painful than stat/skill loss if the amount is right.

So, lets allow both blues to become richer for successfully ridding of murderers and while also allowing murderers to have more space to PvP at a greater cost of course. The last thing we want to see is players quit due to this system, especially if for example a red tamer gets statted and lose the space required to stable his pets.

IMO, 30k+ for a kill is a good reward itself + you may get other stuff from corpse. Also if instead of the server receiving that 10k bonus from the 35k auto buy in let the player who was successful of getting the head get it instead. It's a win win for everyone. Another system can also be implemented where the same red would gradually pay more for each auto buy in within a short period (like an hour or less)

One thing that should be changed is the 9hour timer on a head... its currently used only to wait until the player has logged off so auto-buy back cannot be used. You dont need more than 20minutes to decide whether to offer bounty or to stat someone.

I don't often agree with glut, but this is one thing that gets really annoying.

I would suggest that auto buy back can be done at any time, even if your head hasn't been turned in.

Also shorten the timer to 2 hours max, there is no reason to hold a head longer than that ever.

i dont see the point in 48 hr statloss at all tbh i think the cap should be brought down to mayb 24 hrs. i mean i see one point to stat loss

- to stop people from returning to the action be it champs/rdas/idocs/farming

This can be accomplished with a 24 hr timer just as well as it can a 48 hr timer and doesnt remove players from the game for to much time.

Agreed so much. Also, buyback should be increased by a couple of minutes at least. Sometimes it's a panic situation to get gated out, rezzed, oh shit no gold in bank account, log alt, give gold, go to Buc's to bank it...by that time you're either statted or cutting it seconds close on that "I wish to buy my head back."

Also OP, the gold buyback for outside of dungeons is increased if you turn the head in to a guard. I don't know if blues get more money, but the red has to pay a scale of 35k->50k->100k for his head back depending on how many murder counts he has (unless that was removed in the past few months).
