Factions and houses.

If your in factions, whether you have attacked or been attacked you should NOT BE able to enter a house, just like you cant recall or enter a gate in the heat of battle.

I understand if you are the "aggressor" you cant enter a house but if your in factions, and in a battle. There should be no house hiding.

The owner of the house should have access to the house regardless of combat, but friends and co-owners shouldn't.

Have you tried this to a house that you are not the owner or co-owner of?

huh?

I constantly chase faction members spamming attack last to keep them in combat only to have them run into a house.

Not sure you understand what im talking about.

I could explain if you care to let me know what exactly it is you don't understand, but i think my original post was pretty straight forward.

Is this being applied now?

In my oppinion, house run should get the same requirements as recall. You can not get in if you recently attacked, but I agree you can get in if you are being ganked and you did not attack.

I agree with Kemi'Kalz. Joining a faction means you are ready for the consequences. Don't join a faction if you are afraid of fighting or getting killed.

Sorry I completely disagree no one should have to fight if they dont want to.

Lure them somewhere else.

The reason I ask is because, although I haven't tested it, there was talk a while back about disallowing any faction members from entering a house if in combat except the house owner/co-owner. I am not sure if this was implemented as I usually do not PvP near my houses so I cannot not be sure if someone I have chased and entered a house owns that house or not.

Peoples in factions houses should be camped by gank squads so that as soon as they recall in they are flagged and cannot access the house.

I don't know if this is how things *should* work, but it was discussed and I thought it was put in.

I personally have no problem at all with house hiding or house PvP. Those have been around forever and I consider them a part of UO.

Then it should go both ways and you should be able to enter a gate while im combat, but not be allowed to cast recall or gate travel.

Then we can all just fight, and run and no one has to ever die, because we can just gate out and house hide.

And yes they have been around since forever, but at least before you had to remove your trash barrel off your telepad at least giving the chaser a opportunity to stun you prior to you landing on the telepad tile

I think this shard needs to hire a veteran pvper to analyze pvp mechanics on UOF.

It seems to much of the staff "dont pvp"
