Effect of Different Mats on Items

Hey guys,

I've been trying to find a complete source that explains the different effects of the different ores / leather / dragonscales etc on weapons and armor.

What is the advantage of using Valorite vs. Iron on armor or weapons? Same for wood / scales / bone?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding the answers to this as it pertains to UOF?

Crafting armor from the various metals has a scaled armor increase from iron up to valorite.

Runic hammers wont craft better armor but for weapons they do if you craft with the metal that matches the hammer.

Runic sewing kits do make runic armor

Exceptional dragon scale will give 48AR.

Barbed bone is close to that but the durability wears down fast.
