Dead bonded pets

I have a question about dead bonded pets. I had a pet bonded it died and I had to log off with it dead. If someone comes up a rezzes said dead pet and I'm not on to accept the gump window how the hell do they steal said pet? They cannot Rez it without my day so can they???

They cannot Rez it if you're not on, which means they cannot steal it from you. It'll decay after 8 (?) Hours tho

I didn't know they decay that's pretty shitty. So if I have a bonded pet and no one rezzes it it will decay?

Well if it's dead You cannot stable it and if it stays 8 or something hours without being stabled and without taking comands it'll go wild (as a ghost it'll just disappear )
