Hiya everyone.

I wanna make a crafter that can make all kinda stuff in game, i know all skills dont fit in but Im looking for the comboskills,

Mining 120
Blacksmith 120
Tinkering 120
Carpentry 120
Tailoring 120
Magery 75
Music 45

With these skills, can i make almost everything in game? House adds and other cool things.

Is there any combo i miss?
Or is there useless skills in this temp?

Do I need 120 mining, how much better is it from 115, normal mining.

Dont mind about alch, insc and lj couse they are on other char. If there isnt a combo alch vs carpentry or something that i miss?

Thanks

Personally I make my Miner & Crafter two different toons.

My miner has 100 Animal Lore, 100 Veterinary and 50 Animal Taming so I can have 5 Bonded Pack Horses.

Also that opens up your Crafter toon to another GM Skill such as Alchemy so you can also obtain the Glassblowing skill as well as Stonemason.

Glassblowing allows you to create House Decorating Items such as Flasks and Vials.

Masonry

In order to learn Masonry you need to have GM Carpentry and purchase 2 books; "Making Valuable with Stonecrafting", "Mining for Quality Stone" and a Mallet & Chisel from the NPC Kin the Stone Mason in Minoc. Kin is located in "The Survival Shop" directly east of Minoc Bank.

The resources used in Stonecrafting are High Quality Granite which are obtain through mining after you read the book "Mining for Quality Stone" which requires you to have GM Mining.

Each Ore Type has a corresponding piece of High Quality Granite that has a chance to be mined if you set your Pickaxe/Shovel to mine for said Granite.

So even though you are not required to be a GM Miner in order to learn Masonry, you need GM Mining in order to mine the material necessary to utilize the profession.

Glassblowing

In order to learn Glassblowing you need to have GM Alchemy and purchase 2 books; "Crafting Glass with Glassblowing", "Find Glass Quality Sand" and a Blow Pipe. You can purchase these items from any Alchemist in any City.

This combination of 2 books works just like Masonry; GM Alchemist in order to learn the skill by reading "Crafting Glass with Glassblowing" and GM Mining in order to learn to harvest the sand by reading "Find Glass Quality Sand".

You harvest sand by using a shovel at a beach.

-------

As of right now the number of house decorations you can actually craft with both skills is very limited and not in high demand so you only will want these skills if you want easy access to the items for decorating your or friends homes.

However hopefully sometime in the future the admins will implement new items utilizing these skill like they have for Carpentry and Tinkering.

Hope that helps!

Oh ok, I never crafted instruments before and have never had a carpenter. I thought it was for playing music 45% of the time while mining.

No problem brotha glad I could help.

I'm pretty sure the Bamboo Flute is a new instrument they just added recently to the Carpentry Skill although I could be wrong, been playing for about a year now and I just recently noticed it around.

And I could have sworn at one point I saw the skill requirements to craft said Flute was at GM Carpentry and GM Musicianship but I just checked on my Carpenter and it's at 80 Carpentry and 45 Musicianship so either I'm tripping or they changed it recently.

Either way that's what I was referring to when mentioning the new instrument :]
