Completely New Player

When I say I am completely new, I mean to Ultima Online in general, not just the server. I am not 100% sure if this game is for me or not but hopefully you guys can help answer that.

I am looking for a full loot MMO with open world pvp. The other thing I am looking for is a thriving community, or at least a community that is sizable enough to enjoy. I am only 20 years old and my earliest MMORPG was runescape, and I never got to experience UO, but I hear so many great things about it that I really wish I had. Will this server give me that kind of experience?

Yup, UOF is pretty much all of those things.

There is a learning curve but you have a ton of resources on Google and many more on these forums and wiki. The community will pretty much answer any questions you have.

There is a ton to do on UOF but the best advice I can give if you choose to give us a try is that you cannot learn everything in a day (or even a month for that matter) so take it easy, join a guild to have support of other players, and be persistent because you will only learn the hard lessons by actually experiencing them.

This game is very rewarding in many aspects which is what keeps tons of people playing it 17 years after it originally came out.
